Who we are
Oppenheimer Energy is a project developer focused on large-scale energy infrastructure, with advanced nuclear energy at the center of our current work.
We originate projects, assemble the commercial, capital and delivery structure and carry them through the stages where development most often loses momentum.
Why we exist
Energy technologies create value when projects can be financed, delivered and repeated.
Advanced nuclear energy has produced excellent operating assets for decades, but the development and construction system around new projects has struggled to reproduce them at scale. Oppenheimer Energy exists to help close that gap.
That purpose sits within a broader energy challenge. Utilities, industrial customers, governments and investors need large quantities of reliable, low-carbon energy, and they need project structures capable of attracting long-term capital.
The Oppenheimer history is part of our purpose. Peaceful nuclear science, international cooperation and integrity are part of that legacy we carry forward.
What we believe
Six convictions shape how we work.

We are direct about assumptions, risks and tradeoffs. Clear information and sound judgment lead to better decisions throughout development and more trust from all stakeholders.

Claims should be grounded in evidence. We rely on operating data, engineering judgment, finance and project history, and we change the plan when the facts change.

Partners over ego
The right specialist matters more than keeping every capability in-house. We give each partner a clear scope and hold the whole team to one project plan.

Discipline
Financability is built through cost baselines, schedules, contracts, interfaces, contingencies, risk allocation and clear decisions.

Safety and Sustainability
Nuclear safety and quality are requirements for every project and partner. Every schedule and financing structure must preserve those standards.

Community
Large energy assets become part of a site for generations. Host communities should understand the project early, see where the value goes and have a real role in the decisions that affect them. We develop for the energy system and for the place around it.
