Oppenheimer Energy

Oppenheimer Energy develops advanced nuclear projects.

Nuclear is ready to scale again. The bottleneck is no longer the science - it is getting projects financed, de-risked, and built. Oppenheimer Energy is the developer doing that work.

The problem

Demand is not the problem. Delivery is.

The need for round-the-clock clean power has never been greater, and yet new reactors still rarely get built. The reason isn't the technology. It is that no one is set up to carry a nuclear project through its hardest stages.

Utilities can't put the risk of a multi-year build on their own balance sheet. Capital waits on the sidelines until that risk clears. And the lessons of one project rarely reach the next. In solar, gas, and real estate, a developer solves exactly this. In nuclear, that role has been missing.

What we do

The developer nuclear has been missing.

Oppenheimer Energy takes a project from the first idea to an operating asset. We go first, taking the early risk, structuring the financing and managing the build in line with its schedule and budget. We lead through every stage in which a project would otherwise stall.

Our approach is informed by the people who have built, financed and shaped nuclear before.

Why now

The moment that sets the standard.

Electrification, new industry and AI are driving a generational rise in electricity demand and a hard need for power that runs at all hours. The United States is targeting roughly 200 gigawatts of new nuclear by 2050. The cost of building to achieve that capacity falls sharply as designs are standardized and projects repeat.

Today's projects will set the pace, the cost and the standard for everything which follows. We are proud to be among them.
